Besides amassing an insurmountable amount of debt in the past few years while my pain level was too high to be ‘normally’ functional, I gathered ideas and inspiration, notably through play and creation. It wasn’t a sabbatical persay because I was on a sick leave without insurance or welfare support. But what I notice today is that I too am developing the ideas I have been having for the past few years while my life cycle was dream-play-learn-experiment mostly through crafts (instead of the usual programming I had been doing before because my brain could not compute!) It is after watching this video that I realized that I did not lose a few years of my life to pain but found inspiration in places I had never really looked before.
